About Us

Our Mission: Building the Next Generation of CREATORS AND MAKERS.

Craft Club was created to give children a place to make, explore, create, and experiment. We believe that art is about curiosity, imagination, and the confidence that comes from trying something new.

At Craft Club, our goal is simple: to create a space where children feel comfortable getting messy, trying new things, making mistakes, and taking pride in what they create. Every child is welcome, every idea has value, and every project is an opportunity to learn something new.

Meet Sarah Sarmiento

Hi! I’m Sarah, and journey to founding Craft Club has been a blend of professional artistry, international education, and raising three active boys.

I grew up with many incredibly talented, creative people in my life. I learned so many skills I am thankful to have today. After university, I taught English in China, where having arts related classes is a very common part of children’s after school activities. It was so interesting to see kids being given so many opportunities to explore their talents and interests. Before having kids, I worked as a professional photographer, photographing countless families and more than 50 weddings.

If you’re wondering if I can handle a room full of energetic makers, the answer is a resounding yes. As a mom to three boys (ages 5, 6, and 7), I live in the world of crafts and art every single day. I know firsthand how to channel that restless energy into focused creation, and I understand exactly what parents are looking for: a safe, inspiring space where their kids can be themselves.

I can’t wait to welcome your family into the Club!
